This essential oil is a very special therapeutic grade oil distilled from Lavandula Intermedia (what is called Lavandin) commonly referred to as French lavender, as historically it was developed for the French perfume industry. I have planted varieties of Provence, Grosso, and Giant Hidcote on our hillside.  The soil and plants have received the biodynamic® preparations since 2011. The warmth and heat of late June and July signals harvest time in our location within the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of northern California. It is harvested in the early morning and hung to dry before the buds are rubbed off by hand. These buds are steam distilled in an electric stainless steel HeartMagic distiller in small 5-10 pound batches at low pressure. (My home and farm is completely powered by solar panels.) The oil is allowed to breathe for several weeks in darkness before being sealed in bottles.

These handcrafted 100% pure lavandin essential oil and hydrosol are very fragrant.  They are estate grown, distilled and bottled on my farm.
